We check each channel against the recorder, not just the live view, and confirm how many days of footage are actually stored.
Image quality
Lens cleaning, focus, IR performance at night, and cameras knocked out of position.
Recorder and disks
Hard disk health, recorder time sync, and alerts for disk errors.
Power and network
UPS batteries, PoE switches, cable joints and connectors exposed to rain.
