Wired or wireless?
Wireless (Zigbee and similar)
Best for existing homes. Smart switches replace the old ones in the same boxes, with little or no rewiring.
Wired
Best for new builds and villas planned before plastering. More robust, and easier to extend.
Mixed
Common in practice: wired backbone for lighting and curtains, wireless sensors where cables cannot reach.

Works without the internet
Local control for core functions where the system supports it, so the lights still work if the internet is down.

Questions we get asked
Can you automate an existing home without rewiring?
In most cases, yes. Wireless smart switches fit the existing switch boxes. Some older wiring needs minor changes, which we check at the survey.
Does it work with Google Home and Alexa?
The systems we install support Google Home and Alexa voice control.
What happens if the internet goes down?
Physical switches keep working, and many functions run locally. Remote control from outside the home needs the internet.
Can we start small?
Yes. Many homes start with lighting and a smart lock, then add curtains, climate and sensors later.
